OK time for an update. After finishing a game for the Edge competition, I've been working on creating environments which is the area I'd like to work in professionally. the environments are next-gen standards (the current generation of consoles). The Unity engine can cope with this type of graphics very well, it just need a little understanding. With some help from I3D tutorials I created a warehouse scene, as usual there was lots of experimenting an interesting results, most of which I didn't have the foresight to screen capture, but needless to say the learning process was intense and quite diverse as I allowed myself lots of time to play around with the tools available to me.
Here's a screenshot of the final level build. I'm quite proud of how it turned out!
