Time for an update. I've been learning ZBrush, a 3D sculpting program used to make high detail models as part of the game development pipeline in next-gen games. So far I've covered Zspheres, sculpting, decimation and getting to grip with various other aspects of ZBrush like projection master and the UI. I feel like the time I've put in is already paying off as I'm already comfortable with using ZBrush and I'm having fun exploring what the different tools can do. Below are some screenshots of a tree I've been sculpting to get better acquainted with some of the program's sculpting tools.


I tried to give the bark the rough feel of an oak tree. The roots will be partly submerged in the earth, and I still need to sort out the branch stump near the top.I happy with how it's developing though.
