Working on a weapon today. This is the first weapon I've created to a next-gen level. I deviated from the tutorial and used a few tools and features I've learned previously. I made use of the morph tool by first painting a ancient Norse pattern to the weapon, then extruding it out using the mask intensity feature, and then saving it as a morph target. This allowed undo all the steps I had taken and revert back to a nice stone material, but then morph the new shape in to the stone.
I'm finding weapon design fun, and I'm going to try a set of themed weapons after I've finished this one.
