A low-poly rope asset. I tried to make as effective as possible using texturing techniques, and yet force it to be a minimal number of tris as possible. A high-poly version was modelled in Maya and then used to create a texture/normal combination. I then added various occlusion and texture effects and coloured it in photoshop. Finally I mixed the normals with some rough fibre normals I created to reduce some of the smoothness of the high-poly version. Created in Maya, Photoshop and Crazybump.
